First attempt to make cookies. Not very successful though. Too much butter, cookies stick together and fail to adjust to correct temperature and timing. However, the cookies are edible lah! The taste not yucky at least! I always have a bunch of guinea pigs--kids who can help me to finish my food! I dun think I would like to make any more cookies. Hmm..I want to try something else next time...heheeh....

On Monday night, me and darling have the chance to enjoy Aussie BBQ Buffet. Thanks to the privilege card, we only have to pay 50% of the price. It costs around RM42 per person after discount. Also, we have a night free to stay at Riverside Crowne Plaza hotel. I am realli a "jacoon" when I found this in the toilet!

Red earth shampoo, conditioner and bath gel!

Am I really a jacoon??! I am so surprise that Red Earth actually supply the hotels with these! hehehehe...And I tell myself that I must bring them home! I used to be a Red Earth fan but not now anymore because the price of Red Earth in Malaysia is quite expensive.

However, 3 of them smell quite the same, smell just like powder only.

Ten months ago, I had a cute gift from Ai tyng's wedding dinner ~ candy. I even took two back home. They cannot be kept so darling ate them!! By the way, we are going to see Ai Tyng's baby this Sunday!

OverjOy

I was overjoyed this morning becoz I received one extra cheque!!!! It is my commission for introducing a new tenant to my ex-tauke.

Mum said I deserve it for "pat kang tao".

Darling said can save as KL trip expenses.

Hehehe.. can cover my airticket, accommodation, transports and food oh kakakakaka...by the way..never thought to receive such a "surprise" money! Thanks to my ex-tauke!

Bad dream

I had a bad dream this morning..I suppose I dreamt that in the morning because I woke up at 11.30am!! heheheeh...........

I dreamt of my 4 days 3 nights trip in KL. And dunno..wat reason lah..We only left a few hours to shop. I was in a rush..searching high and low for clothes...also dreamt that I was selecting a dress for my mum..but there was no size...and ended up with empty hand!

Two more months to go for my KL trip....maybe i am worrying that 4 days 3 nights won't be enough for me to shop...I am thinking way tooooo much! Heheheheh =P

Free like a bird

I am so free in November due to school holidays. No class in the morning, no class at night. I only have to work in the afternoon. I am feeling so bored!! I think......I should enjoy this sweet sweet month.

Healthy Body Healthy Mind

I am sweating....sweating helps me to recover from illness?

Sooo "soi", I get damn damn sick on thursday nite after a cold drink.. my nose malfunction again!! I refuse to think that I might get some nose cancer or wat..*god bless* but realli..my nose is blocked like 24 hours 7 days...especially when there is wind blowing me......I almost forget how wonderful it is to breath with two nostrils!

I also know I never consume enough water everyday....and i get sore throat at the same time...

Dun have to wake up early and since I was so sick..I decide to delay all my plan and have a good rest in the morning. Go to work as usual in the afternoon...but feeling a very strong kind of heat in my body and I faint at nite. This is my 2nd experience. 1st time was like more than 10 years ago.

When I am lying on the bed I think a lot about my health. Huhhh...I am far too weak...hehehe..maybe u probably can judge that by looking at my body size. I want a body check up but I dun have the courage..I am fear of needle and blood!! And I am even fear of the result....

I think I will start drinking a lot lot of water..emm..my first step to remain healthy! And I must think positively...."Your mind attracts what you are thinking"..I always believe that! So I am healthy..I am healthy....I am just a little weak...akakakakakaka

And...my next mission is to get an injection for Rubella.....*I am indeed very very scare* I still haven't found out where to get this injection....anyone can provide me with the details?

I cure my sore throat by drinking concentrated lime juice + salt + warm water. I can't remember who told me about this but it realli works.

Thought of the day....

细想想你有多久没有注视你身边的每一个人，尤其是和你最亲近的人?

每天就在你身边，打理好家里的一切事务，也不需你去烦恼家里的生计的父母亲. 岁月无情的在他们脸上留下痕迹、发黄的牙齿、晒黑的皮肤，一阵心酸的感觉顿时涌上心头。他们也常常说老了，头发变少了，皮肤也皱了。我也得承认我们长大了，他们也变老了.

应该是自己平时很少陪在他们身边，又不是很孝顺他们，所以现在才如此感慨。或许我是真的真的无法想象和他们分开的时候会是怎样的感觉。难道我还是个baby girl? @o@

我希望自己每天能不断学习、成长，学会站在另一个人的角度设想. 虽然我老大不小了@_@，但是还是有待改进的空间。偶尔我会犯错或任性，不管对家人或打令或身边的每一个人……

很庆幸的是你 们还在我身边!

Not my day...

I have to handle two "extreme" children cases today and they actually make me feel so unhappy. But what to do - customers are always right!

Recently, there is restriction that school teachers cannot give tuition. So quite a number of parents come to "enrol" their children. I think they are just "rushing" to find a centre which can park or let the children preparing for the exam. They bargain and hope to pay the cheapest price. It is impossible to ask us to only take RM50 and give 20-day tuition. Some parents just won't pay you at the beginning of the month and planning to leave anytime they want without paying. Some probably ask for DISCOUNT for the day that they cannot send their children to the centre. Some will enrol 1 or 2 subjects and expect you to teach them ALL subjects when the exam is coming.

When the school teachers are ready to teach "secretly" at home. They will probably leave i guess. Cheap and can get "questions" and score high marks.

Just like taking advantages of education. Really feeling angry!

And to what extend a tuition centre teachers have to do? They think tuition teachers do not have to teach, keep calling everyday when the lesson starts and remind the teachers to ask the children to do homework, study this and that. If the calls from parents are important I wouldn't mind. But some calls are unimportant at all, I feel very irritated especially when I am teaching and busy preparing works for the children.

When holiday comes, they won't come, they don't pay. They only want to attend the tuition when there is an exam becoz tuition teachers give intensive revision.  They never think to what extend did the children learn. Arrggh....when the children play until fight. Teachers are asked about this and that. Naughty children would probably lie to their parents.

Children now are lacking of discipline. They cannot be scolded or nagged. When they did not do well in the exam, they will just said "my tuition teacher never teach me this."

Micheal or Michael?

Have you ever spell this name wrongly? I did this mistake for the last 6 months. And I think it is funny.

I have a student name Michael Gregory. There was once, Kenny (the baby boy) pronounced his name as "Michelle". The class burst into laughter. Then, a few students told me they always mix up "Michelle" & "Michael" also. As for me, I know Michelle is a name for gal, and Michael is for boy. As for children, they pronounce by using the phonic technique.

Until last week, Michael looked at the reciept and started yelling.

"Teacher, you spell my name wrongly! You lah, make ppl call me Michelle. Duh!"

What a silly mistake!

I bought a lot of stuff for my work place. I think that is all right as they are necessary items. But..I also bought myself a high-heel which cost me RM55.

At 11am, go to Pop Wave to sing K till 2pm, each person only have to pay RM13.90. Realli worthwhile! & this is my first time sing K experience becoz no shy shy only Darling Ho Ho and FKian in the room. But I guess FKian must be feeling pretty boring. Heheheh.....

After that I bought 2 things at  Hock Lee. A rhino toothbrush holder and a mask, it is actually for mouth, but the lady in the shop told me it can be treated as a mask for eyes. Then...I go home and try sleeping with the mask...I dun think it is suitable for that purpose. Arrghh..anyone can tell me where to get one? I dun like to sleep with bright light. That's why I need one!

Pay Day

I tend to spend more when it comes to "PAY DAY"!! Are you doing the same thing as well?

As usual, I woke up late on Sunday after a happening Saturday night. After my "brunch", I went to fetch Dexter and Amelia for our date promised last night.

First we went to BDC Everise and there was nothing to buy there. Our next station was Iglool at King Centre. Then suddenly the childrens thought of having pizza for their lunch. So we headed to Pizza Hut.  Then sent them back and fetched Darling Ho Ho to Somerset to register as a gym member.

Afterall, I did not feel satisfy yet and go to Watson at Travilion to buy sunscreen lotion. I was looking for a small one but sold out. So I ended up buying the big one.

At night, I saw the small sunscreen lotion I wanted at Guardian Sarberkas. Then I ended up buying 3 small bottles. They are cute, aren't they?

I am feeling that I spend a lot of money today..no..no..should be the beginning of July! I even bought an organic repair essence for my hair. My hair is splitting so badly that I can't help to buy something expensive for my hair! heheheheeh....

There are in fact so many things for girls to buy. There are in fact so many reasons for girls to spend money. Heheheh..till the mid of July....I will have to eat "Grass"!

*Pink+Purple*

I thought I lost my sketch book this morning and realise the importance of this book to me. I like to jot down whatever comes into my mind in this book. And this book comes in my favourite colour - PINK. Lately, I am into PURPLE stuff as well.

Make the Yam Bean Curd Pudding just now. I don't like this flavour at all. I don't think I am going to eat them. The purpose I am doing those pudding is that I have promised to make some for my students. And it is Darling Ho Ho who chose this flavour. 

After all, I think Kinnokuniya is still the best! I will stop making pudding from now onwards.

And not to forget, to thank those who remember me when they are having their holidays! I have received a lot of gifts in the month of June. Thanks again!

Struggling to get online!

Pheww...eventually I can get online after struggling with my PC for 4 days! Even thought of sending my pc for repair.!@##$ I reformat my PC. Testing here and there. I brought back the old pc from my centre.

Then I change the broadband router into old one just now.  And it WORKS!  However, I am still not very sure what the problem is yet because I am using my old pc to update this blog.

Things are going quite smooth these few days. Out of my expectation! I realli believe in LAW OF ATTRACTION.

1. My camera is with me now. FOC becoz it is still under warranty.

2. This month I dun have to overspend.

3. I manage to get my ex-staff to work with me.

4. I got my tuition centre license!

Right now...I dunno wat will be my next step...as I haven't start planning anything yet but keep worrying all the while.  >.<|||

Next Holiday...

If I have not mistaken, the next public holiday will be on the 31st August. Today is only 4 June! Not realli looking towards to the holiday actually.....

Let me recall what I did the last few days....

1 June: Go to Matang Family Park + KFC for dinner + Make Pudding

2 June: Make Pudding + Make Sushi + Clubbing

3 June: Prepare work + Watch Astro Talent Quest 2007 + Worrying

4 June: Make Sushi Again + Tuition at nite

Then most of the time I was SLEEPING...Z.z.z.z.Z.z.....

Seem like I didn't make full use of my holiday!

Everyone in this house is waiting for the day to come --> 9th June 2007. My youngest brother's wedding day. My eldest bro + his wife are flying back from Perth last week. My second bro will be back from Singapore.

My parents will be the happiest person on the day when all their children are at home. =)

Long Holiday

4 days rest in a row...however I dun feel relax but stress #$%^&*!

Becoz..I am going to say bye bye to 2 of my teachers! Arrghh..and till now..I still can't find anyone to replace them! Making me feel like crying..

Thinking of this....make me can't enjoy my holiday!

Pudding

I have been trying hard to find out how to make pudding these few days. Asking around and searching from the websites.

My first pudding making was a failure. And it makes me feel like vomitting for a day. I make a very  big mistake for boiling the pudding powder. The sales girl was giving me a recipe and "boiling" is written on it.  In fact I try a very difficult method to make them, buy fresh mango, pudding powder and milk.

After that I found out there are actually instant pudding powder with flavour in the market. It is very very simple and cheaper too! Arrgghh....I waste my time and money for the first pudding making. And....I still can remember the BAD taste!

Hehehe..I try to make honeydew pudding on Wednesday night. And strawberry bean curd pudding just now. And I gonna make mango bean curd pudding tomolo. Going to give half of them to Connie! (Sorry for making them first..hehehehe...)

My ikomo is malfunction now! The lifespan of my previous and current hp is only 2 years!! Is it normal?

This morning went to Tun Jugah, wanted to send my camera for repair....

BUT I first bought myself a pair of shoes. Vincci got sales mah...only cost me RM 27+ . They remind me of a pair of shoes when I was a little girl. The memory is so fresh.

Few few few years back, I saw the pair of shoes at Phoenix (the recent closing down Upwell) and my mum refused to buy for me. Then I showed very unhappy face to my mum. But my aunt bought them for me after that.  I kept saying "I dun want".  I always do that when I am offered back the item after they find out I am unhappy. hehehehe.....My mum was trying to pay her back, and I forgot whether she took the money or not.

I am still taking pictures with my sick cam.  Going to send my cam back to Singapore. My bro said it will be very fast for them to do the repairing there. Crossing my finger...Hoping it will be alright!

Worry!

One more thing to worry about! My cam.....*sob*....not functioning properly. Cam cam..how dare you.....you only contribute yourself to me for 1 year & 3 months. I can't accept the fact that you are not functioning well! Pls Pls Pls..dun be so vulnerable.....Becoz..I NEED YOU!

有 位 做 广 告 的 朋 友 告 诉 我 ,广 告 要 常 常 登 才 有 效 。 一 直 以 来 被 介 绍 的 学 生  比 看 广 告 的 还 要 多 。但 是 我 还 是 不 妨 试一 试 登 两 个 月广 告 。 前 两 天 ,接 到 国 际 时 报 少 年 周 刊 的 记 者 来 电 。 有 点 受 宠 若 惊, 又 有 点 不 可 思 议 。

一 直 到 Dexter告 诉 我 上 次 采 访 他 的 记 者也 是 姓 陈 的 ,   也 就 答 应 了 采 访 。 起 先 还 感 到 蛮 有 压 力 的 , 但 是后 来 的 结 论 是 还 蛮 好 玩 的 。  学 生 们 都 很 开 心 ， 也 期 待 着 它 的 刊 登 。

这 真 是 意 外 的 收 获 ！

I realli have a lot of clothes and stuff in my room...I tidy up some old clothes to donate..however..still got a lot of unwanted stuff..

Oh yeah....got myself..." Ho Mok", I got no idea wat is that until this morning my mum told me that my blood is "dirty".....last nite i was having a lot of patches (looks like mosquito bite, but bigger patches)..on my laps...quite itchy.....See doctor just now ..and he said it is due to the dust and paint that coz sensitivity to my skin.....

Heheheh..show u the part which i think is the best of my room... The rest are yet to tidy.....

Colourful

Colourful Seal!

This white seal can turn into colourful seal....when the metal underneath the seal is touched... it works when the metal comes in contact with water...however, whether it is operated by bettery..or not..I have no idea..hehehehe..if it is the case,  just hope the battery won't run out so fast..otherwise it won't be that special! The white seal comes in 3 sizes: small, medium and big. The small one is so so cute cost only RM4.90. And I get a medium one for myself RM5.90. CUTE!

My CPU

I have turned my boring grey cpu into something PINK (with the help of darling)...u can actually see 2 different colours...this is due to my "kepoh"ness...ahhaah..i sprayed quite a few layers..so the pink turn into orange colour.....Does it look very weird?

Ruin

I ruin a piece of work and get scolded...and my fingers are all pink now..*sigh* & *sweat*

So I bought a Pink Pink Mouse @ RM25. Not cheap..........Sound very plastic when you click on it....in fact it is very "plastic"...Still I love it....

Next...I wanna do something to my CPU.........but have to wait till I am free 1st

A day with Dino & Kids

Petrosains DinoTrek is in Kuching now......

You might think I am childish for going this kind of exhibition. And pay RM5 for nothing. But it is real fun to go with kids. Kenny, Amelia & Dexter, Me and Ho Ho went there around 9.30am and queued up to buy tickets. Altogether we pay RM15 as we bought a family package, save us RM4. We could only enter the showroom at 11.30am.

So before that, we "kia kia" at the museum first. Kenny was hoping time to pass quickly so he could see the dinosaurs too. He is just so so so cute.

 

In fact there are only 4 dinasour models and dinasour-related multimedia kiosks to play with. But three of them ran here and there, that's how children react to new things.

After an hour, we finished our exploration and we had a rest on the bench while ho ho was taking pictures. But in less than 5 minutes... they ran here and there again. "Tired" never exists in children's dictionary.
